Taking constructive criticism, everything was an attack on them. They dont know how to pick and choose their battles. They speak to employees incredibly rudely then got mad when employees responded in the exact same tone. They do not understand what it means to be a supportive boss.
There is no leadership when you have fellow servers that don't know anything about the kitchen that turns into PICs

Everything, stop the favoritism and start communicating with employees
Communication. Training. Policy enforcement. Checking references/employment history/hiring/firing. Interacting appropriately with customers and crew alike versus hiding in office/gossiping/being drinking buddies. Avoiding nepotism. Spot checking inventory/loss prevention.
