I have worked there many years and while I have seen a lot of changes in Dillons, I have never seen much growth or improvement.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication between department management and store management

The process was fast and efficient
What makes you most happy at work?
Making my customers happy, designing floral work and displays
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Associates do not care to provide a higher standard of service for customers because they are not paid enough.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My department manager has not trained them effectively. They often are not aware of proper procedures, or otherwise, do not care.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I do have a few co-workers that I enjoy being around. I enjoy our friendships, as well as making my floral customers happy!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership at corporate and store level are good however I have a lot of issues with my department manager often taking advantage of his leadership in the department
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If I was paid fairly for the amount of education and experience I have with Dillons (over 5 years). I do not feel my opinions or experiences or ever considered
