Executive Bio

Mr. Warren W. Schlichting has been Executive Vice President and Group President of Sling TV at DISH Network Corporation since December 5, 2017. Mr. Schlichting served as an Executive Vice President of Marketing, Programming & Media Sales at DISH Network Corporation since December 11, 2015. He served as Senior Vice President of Programming and Media Sales at Dish Network Corp. from October 1, 2014 to December 11, 2015. He served as Senior Vice President of Media Sales & Analytics of Dish Network Corp. until September 30, 2014. Prior to joining DISH in 2011, he led Comcast's advanced advertising efforts on multiple media and ad delivery platforms including broadband, interactive television and video-on-demand. Mr. Schlichting served as the Vice President of New Business Strategy of Comcast since 2002. Mr. Schlichting has been a part of the streaming media industry since 1998. Prior to joining Comcast, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Hiwire. He also served executive positions with William E. Simon Group from 1987 to 1991. He also served in executive positions for Morgan Stanley and the William E. Simon private equity group. He also served for Morgan Stanley & Co., the New York investment bank, from 1983 to 1986. Mr. Schlichting serves as a Director of Vehix, Inc. and WhyRunOut.com. He serves on the Board of Directors for the International Radio & Television Society and Yucatan Foods. He served as a Director of HiWire, Inc. and Interactive Advertising Bureau Inc. He is a frequent guest speaker and panelist on the topic of advanced advertising at conferences and industry events throughout the nation. He gives back to the community as a PVJSA basketball coach and board member of Summer Search Philadelphia. He has received numerous accolades for his successful career in the advertising industry, including CableFAX's 2007 Cable Top 100 Heavy Hitters and Cable Advertising Bureau's 2005 President's Award. He served as co-chair of the IAB's Five-Year Plan. Mr. Schlichting holds an A.B. degree in Economics from Harvard University.
