I've been waiting for my final paycheck for over three years now

I work at the Sacramento location, I liked the environment but it got unorganized and overcomplicated on the weekends.

The managers at the company spend too much time bring negative about tiny little things instead of being positive and uplifting. No matter how many 5 star reviews you have you are never good enough. They withold tips. They care more about deep cleaning the salon than they care about lifting you up.

Employees are definitely pushed beyond both their physical and mental capacities. It's typical that most stylists here feel overworked, underpaid & unappreciated (not allowed break & asked to skip lunch). The executives clearly have zero salon experience & seemingly dont care to gain perspective.

Interesting experience just know its alot of hard work.

The store level leadership team seems to understand and genuinely be interested in balancing the needs of the store, clients and workers.

Very educating and work with you

I like that they help you to grow within the company.

As a whole, Drybar's leadership teams generally lack professionalism. They also dont care to exert the same level of work as stylists have to.

Management and corporate need to start treating employees like people. They run this business as a sweat shop and treat everyone terribly.

They need to be better at Listening to employees.

Compensation is standard for the work being done.

If it was actually given to the people

There are no benefits, no pto, no insurance, no paid holdays & no vacation time. You are paid so low that you cant afford to be sick.

The workload was too much for the hourly pay.

The company is stretched to thin.

They work us to extremes. We must be busy at all times. We are paid practically nothing to be treated poorly and paid poorly.

We get along pretty well.

They were young and we had alot in common.

Feels like family, supportive. Team oriented.

Everyone works great together and loves what they do

Bartenders seem to focus on aiding management and stylists far more than engaging with the client experience, given that their primary job is supposed to be clientside. Stylists are often stretched thin due to the nature of the booking process but tend to work hard.

Management needs to treat us all better so we are happier.

Getting the percentages on commission.

Feels like a family, strong core values, always honest.

The staff tend to be nice sociable people, albeit at the cost of gossip-like personal interactions on a consistent basis.

The hands on audition and criticism

Interview feels like it is set up just to see how submissive you are.

Regular clients are nice to see

Dressing up and interacting with some clients.

My coworkers, laidback environment although its fast paced.

Being able to resolve client concerns with their styles.

I love doing hair and seeing new clients everyday

Well to start off, they cut hours severely where everyone has to get a second job just to pay bills.
