What do people at DTI think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
As a long term employee who is not in Managment, I would strongly disagree. This sounds more like a disgruntled employee than someone interested in a career with a growing company. The CEO cares very much, but is not a totalitarian leader. It is a place with great opportunity, where you can learn a skill, and get compensated consistently with the industry. Yes, there is acquisition, but that has allowed us to grow, gain market share. We need scale in our business to be a leader and our CEO has taken us in that direction.
The CEO is not regarded well. A lot of talk, but not a lot of action. Upper management only cares about buying up competitors and does not care about internal infrastructure. Pay is well below market. Benefits are non-existent. Work life balance is abysmal.
How's the work life balance at DTI?
Work life balance is terrible. Clients make requests at all hours 7 days a week and employees are required to respond within 30 mins during business hours and 60 minutes on off hours. Expect to work more than you are able to enjoy life.
How does DTI make decisions around promotions?
Promotions tend to be made based on merit, but often can be made due to need when backfilling positions quickly.
Does DTI have any remote positions?
DTI has a lot of flexibility in the client services division and employees can often work remotely.
