Chris Lerner — Managing Director at Eaton Partners

Mr. Chris Lerner serves as the Managing Director at Eaton Partners, LLC. Mr. Lerner is responsible for leading the C.P. Eaton Partners origination and execution of alternative funds in Asia and is based in Shanghai. Prior to C.P. Eaton, he served as a Managing Partner at Mercer Street Capital. Mr. Lerner started his career with Citigroup and its predecessor firm, Salomon Smith Barney and Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. He was the Citigroup Global Markets first investment banking expatriate based in Mainland China and helped establish the department's Asia Pacific Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Lerner also worked on the corporate buy-side in strategic planning and business development, including for The Timberland Company. Mr. Lerner has over 13 years of investment banking and direct investment experience with over $10 billion in completed transactions. He holds Series 7, 63, 79, and 24 licenses in the U.S. Mr. Lerner earned a M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, B.A. from Tufts University, and a Certificate in Mandarin Chinese from the College of Foreign Languages in Beijing.
