Great company and purpose but mostly bad managers who stuck there for 10-20 years. Unfortunately, until they can change and refresh management the work culture will not improve.

The recruiter was very good in selling the company and values.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Top management (CxO level) is great but middle management is terrible. I'd suggest get feedback from direct reports to see where are the rotten apples and do something about it.
