Do not cover up bad behavior of bad employees when its properly reported to management. Remove male supervisors/managers who try to exploit female workers for personal and sexual relationships. Stop promoting friends and family members of Mangers or Supervisors or Leads when other better workers exist. Stop Pretending Like You Don't Know.

  • Have new management start from the bottom. That way they know what's going on. Or listen to your employees

  • Make manager hire Within. I see lots of young managers that don't know what to do. That will cost company money. There are lots that are not managers that can do alot better.

  • Spots open only so often locally. If you want to move elsewhere you have a better shot.

  • Extremely common to escape harassment from people in charge of others.

  • It's very common. Once your foot is in the door, you decide the direction and duration of your career. If you start as MT in rental, but you've got an accounting degree or prefer to work in an accounting department, keep an eye out for openings. HR sends out job openings group wide every day! If you ask HR, they can also keep you apprised to openings elsewhere, just tell them you're looking for which department in which group. A woman I know personally started in rental, eventually becoming an area manager, moved to HR for a bit, then she decided to throw her hat in the ring for a Remarketing Account Manager opening.... selling off deletes. So yes, it's common to move around until you find your niche in the company.

  • Most think Enterprise is just another crappy company like walmart because that's the impression coming from management who are afraid of firing bad workers and threaten to fire those who speak up.

  • We love the CEO

  • People in my department don't express any opinions on upper management, mainly out of lack of knowledge on this matter. Extend the amount of time that an employee is hands on in any department before being promoted to a management position.

  • It depends on the market you are in. If there is a lot of growth your have a better shot. Low growth means lots of competition within the company for 1 position when ever it opens up. You may be excellent for months and years on end, but you're based on your most recent performance so, if the stars align and a spot opens during your best performance you can get promoted quickly, often based on merit, sometimes based on desperation to fill an unpopular position.

  • Some jobs are not announced because they are offered secretly to friends family or love interests of male manger and supervisors. These is a way to check online but the online access is not readily available unless a manger is willing to provide it.
