How's the leadership on the Customer Support team at Enterprise Rent-A-Car?
The highest level has what we suppose is the highest quality and likely it goes down in quality from there. Local management could be great but it is not consistent not is there any way of seeing that this is the case as managers are promoted not based on leadership or interpersonal skill but on a store's or personal performance numbers. Often a common correlation between leadership and performance exists but its not always the case. Interaction with higher leadership is minimal or none.
What's the Customer Support team like at Enterprise Rent-A-Car?
Very rewarding experience when you're able to support customers with what they need or accommodate them even if sometimes creatively like finding alternatives when cars are different from what was expected. It can be frustrating when you cannot help them at all or to their satisfaction because no resources were set aside for them as a result of overbooking by teams outside of your control (overpromising with no consequence and causing others to underdeliver). This control is not shared by those that must fulfill the customer's request, normally not even by local management. This frustration is shared by boots on the ground at least in their minds causing needless and avoidable stress and with each level of management but cannot be voiced and keep a good reputation with the company.
What's the vibe like in the Customer Support dept at Enterprise Rent-A-Car? How many hours are you working?
Customer Support dept for this survey is meaning daily rental. The overall vibe depends on the manager and if they are provided resources (like inventory to match demand) and properly staffed (uncommon). A good manager puts on a happy face and works through the shortages but must do so consistently for years on end. All hours of store must be covered by management, often a branch only has one manager and only larger branches have assistant managers but cover mostly the same hours. They are open typically 11+ hours daily and some locations are 7-day operations. 49 hours is a normal minimum but more is most common would be more with 55-60 in some cases. Managers being paid salary do not have their hours logged but they cover more hours and are not compensated for overtime (over 40) which is expected not sometimes but every week. Often the staff is reduced to depend more on managers as one-person shows so that less payroll is needed especially at smaller stores and during non-peak hours.
