What do you like best about the leadership team?

Unlike prior managers, my manager takes an interest in her team's growth and lives outside work. Upper management does not provide the tools needed for our store (training, visual marketing supplies, input into inventory)

Everybody is approachable and part of the team. There is no hierarchy when it comes to inter-personal relationships. Your relationship with an executive on a personal level can be the same as with a peer.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

The leadership team needs to invest and listen to the employees. If you work in the Seattle area the Market Manager doesnt care about anyone, but herself. She doesnt acknowlege you if you are just a stylist. She does not apperciate anyones work.

Mean Girl high school mentality has to go, and upper management needs to be more proactive in putting a stop this behavior. Unfortunately all the managers and DM's are part of it so there is no one to turn to.

Needs to embrace a narrative that includes people of color, LGBTQ+, non-Christian, and other communities. Don't just give lip service to authenticity. Learn ways to lead that are not passive aggressive.
