Mr. Thomas H. Welch, Jr., also known as Tom, has been Chief Legal Officer of EZCORP, Inc. since May 2017 and its Secretary since April 13, 2009. At EZCORP, Mr. Welch is responsible for legal, regulatory and corporate secretarial functions. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at EZCORP, Inc. since April 13, 2009 until May 2017. Mr. Welch is responsible for its legal, regulatory and corporate secretarial functions. He served as a Vice President, General Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Dell Inc. He was responsible for Dell's legal activities involving corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, executive compensation, Board activities, consumer and commercial lending, leasing and site development. At Dell, Mr. Welch managed a staff with over twenty attorneys and other professionals. He served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Director of Tax for Parker & Parsley Petroleum Company. He began his legal career with the law firm of Johnson & Gibbs, located in Dallas. Mr. Welch graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Accounting and received his Law degree from the University of Texas in Austin.
