After FIS bought out the company I was originally working for the atmosphere became very tense. Our benefits were reduced and the reduction in staff started almost immediately. Every few months there would be a new round of layoffs. Everyone seems to be trying to find a new job at this point.

Co-workers pull together in times of stress and need.

inter-department communication needs improvement, more cooperation, less finger pointing

THe moral is low, everyone seems to be waiting for the other shoe to drop.
What did you like most about the interview process?
When I interviewed it was good to speak to different managers and get a feel for the people I would be potentially working with/for.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company has layoffs/downsizing often and atmosphere is very stressful. You are always expecting to be let go, especially if you are at the higher end of the pay scale.
