How can I improve my chances of being hired at Fiserv?
Try not to fall for "trick" interview questions. One interviewer prided themselves on tripping candidates up by asking them about their experience with Windows Server 2010, which doesn't exist. This particular interviewer claimed that not "catching" it in the interview disqualified the candidate.

Depends on the department or initiative. Budget season is focused on long term outlook, so if you plan and reserve far in advance, you're good to go. But begging for dollars mid cycle, you have to rob Peter to pay Paul, and leadership frowns on this. Be proactive and you won't run into any problems.
