What do people at Fiserv think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Top Employee Response
People generally like our CEO. I do not know why. It doesn't seem that he's had any positive influence (or any, really) on my role.
Jeff is well-liked, but no-one seems to "care" anymore.
After the recent production we pretty much decided that the current CEO is a genius. The new technologies being used in the payment industry is dynamic, thought-provoking and innovative. The services Fiserv provides is extensive and can be applied to various industries.
How's the work life balance at Fiserv?
Top Employee Response
In one word, horrible. company phone used as a tether to always keep you on "standby".
There is no balance. Huge workload causes work to intrude into life outside of "work".
It can be challenging as many people work 2nd and third shifts and work the weekend. It takes of a lot of scheduling and time to figure out when to best use time off especially since we can't use leave until it is earned.
What part of Fiserv's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
I do not know. They kept employees in the dark about these kinds of things. They put out reports, but they were so loaded with nonsense acronyms and "corporate ipsum" that they were indecipherable.
I don't know
I do not know, the business area is too wide. One thing I do know is that they acquire everybody who is competition and then don't know what to do with themselves and end up killing off the good products to focus on the management favorite of the week.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Fiserv?
Top Employee Response
Bring some fun back. Previous department managers knew how to foster a team mentality and having fun together was important.
I left Fiserv. I wouldn't want to go back if they asked.
If I was thirty years younger I'd be disappointed in the wages of the people who actually run the machines and stand-up for long periods of time.
