One on one, now it is different

at the time I was hired, the manager was a a very caring, know his store and his employees and what he needed

Polite and courteous, described the job

They were kind and welcoming.

Little to no questions, it didnt feel like an interrogation like most interviews

Ask several open ended questions

Our store manager was Awesome and had a strong team

Interaction and question and the knowledge

Invested much time to interview and get to know me

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

The person who interviewed me used the same script that everybody else has used with me in the past 10 years and honestly, it would've been nice to have other questions asked instead of the usual where do you see yourself in five years or what makes you wanna work for FoodLion.

get the web site to work

Interviews should be merit-based and not focused on a forced diversity hiring slate

At my interview the store manager let me know he didn’t need me in the deli but they were willing to give me the opportunity after knowing how I quit my previous j

Who conducts the interviews and they have more knowledge on what the requirements are

Review from Sales Dept

They need an interview process, I was not interviewed just put to work

Need to be transparent. Deception just to fill a space. I came with pride and enthusiasm for a year and half ,. Built a position that didnt exist. Just to be a axed to an 18 yr old paying for college. I started opening day no training with experience Help the newbies with truth.

Actually hire people for what they apply for and working them in the departments they are hired for

Make you feel comfortable and relaxed.

I would want them to actually look at me for what I do and not judge me on my race

Nothing it was ok the person who interviewed me was great her name is Tammy

Just have one i guess. Was no interview. Just a phone call to start right away.

Sit down and have the interview instead of getting up every 5 minutes and going out and either talking on the phone or doing something and explaining things a little bit better

Review from Customer Success Dept

Don't assume or think someone is what u think they are everyone goes through stuff

Review from Customer Support Dept

Be open with communication skills and be direct with the future employees

Make it more relaxed and actually hire people that are a good fir for the job

Don't use a strong resume to label someone "overqualified"

They need to be specific about what hours they need people for

Hire people that will work instead of just anyone

No real improvement. In todays labor shortage the will hire anybody.
