most are used car salesman full of BS. they put good reports vs safe products. they put profits over patience safety

salaries are generally at market rate, not low, not high, not quick to give raises

To be compensated fairly compared to the rest of the organisation and teams.

Base salary lower than colleagues with less experience & lower performance

They keep staff at the bare minimum so the rest of the budget can be spent fluffing the exec's egos

The company is close to Silicon Valley with an extremely high cost of living yet we are not paid accordingly.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Less individualistic and focused on their own voice

Stop the finger pointing like management wants you to do

Please stop hiring anti-science flat-earthers to work in a science-based company.

No one cares about you as a person, only what you can give the company with blind faith

We need more cohesion between shifts - more embracing a teamwork mentality rather than a competitive view.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Fortive has the measurement of leadership effectiveness but they talk one thing and do something totally different.

Move away from expensive MBA's that are here to save the world on their own

most of ASP management are pathetic used car salesman. some have never even seen the products. high turn over cause they collect a good paycheck for 2 to 3 years and leave once company realizes they did 0 work last few years and only worked 10 hours per week

Some management needs to respect members of their team.

Stop existing and stop destroying existing culture of acquired companies

the company under current management is hopeless. most management needs to go. but Fortive doesn't care, they just want to take put as much $ as possible and destroy the company Fortive and ASP is a joke

You dont need to subject someone to a days worth of interviews to tell if they're a good fit. You're just waiting time to make yourself feel more important

True innovation is lagging, we're giving up supporting large parts of the portfolio

the product designs were bought by asp. asp isnt capable of designs new product. aps is a joke

No opportunities for advancements, pointless busy work, incompetent management constantly understaffed
