What do you like best about the leadership team?
Rewarding and caring at Setra Systems DC
Would like to see more cohesiveness. The message received is different from the message at the CEO/Pres level.
They seem to be trying to improve the company.
Open, transparent - real people who are trying to do big things
Proud to be part of Fortive Family !!! Great leadership at the top.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Understand the difference between their lives and the lives of their employees.
Listen to your employees when they have improvement ideas.
Team work and collaboration, less focused on strong indivduals
most are used car salesman full of BS. they put good reports vs safe products. they put profits over patience safety
Being able to clearly communicate with the members of their team.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The health benefits are good at this organization.
The pay is fairly good.
The annual equity program was good at the Fortive level but not so good at the operating company level.
Structured incremental pay increases are good

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
salaries are generally at market rate, not low, not high, not quick to give raises
To be compensated fairly compared to the rest of the organisation and teams.
Base salary lower than colleagues with less experience & lower performance
They keep staff at the bare minimum so the rest of the budget can be spent fluffing the exec's egos
The company is close to Silicon Valley with an extremely high cost of living yet we are not paid accordingly.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Dedication and great attitudes theought the organization
We get along great. Working together is a blast.
Everyone was trying to help each other out since they are all over pressured and stressed by the leadership team.
Combined knowledge and experience. We all help each other

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Less individualistic and focused on their own voice
Stop the finger pointing like management wants you to do
Please stop hiring anti-science flat-earthers to work in a science-based company.
No one cares about you as a person, only what you can give the company with blind faith
We need more cohesion between shifts - more embracing a teamwork mentality rather than a competitive view.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Mostly love and respect of lower level co workers never management
Covid & vaxx mandates pushing away worst employees & managers.
Challenging work, great leaders who lead with their hearts while balancing the business
Enabling opportunities for employee growth

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Fortive has the measurement of leadership effectiveness but they talk one thing and do something totally different.
Move away from expensive MBA's that are here to save the world on their own
most of ASP management are pathetic used car salesman. some have never even seen the products. high turn over cause they collect a good paycheck for 2 to 3 years and leave once company realizes they did 0 work last few years and only worked 10 hours per week
Some management needs to respect members of their team.
Stop existing and stop destroying existing culture of acquired companies

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
the company under current management is hopeless. most management needs to go. but Fortive doesn't care, they just want to take put as much $ as possible and destroy the company Fortive and ASP is a joke
You dont need to subject someone to a days worth of interviews to tell if they're a good fit. You're just waiting time to make yourself feel more important
What makes you most happy at work?
The coworkers and the opportunity to grow
When it's time to go home
When everything works, the job itself is enjoyable. Pay can be nice, with OT hours.
Wonderful colleagues, sense of belonging and having some fun!
My work is recognized and valued !
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
True innovation is lagging, we're giving up supporting large parts of the portfolio
the product designs were bought by asp. asp isnt capable of designs new product. aps is a joke
No opportunities for advancements, pointless busy work, incompetent management constantly understaffed
