He served major clients in the chemicals, pulp and paper, packaging, private equity and industrial and consumer tools industries with functional specialization in corporate and business unit strategy, marketing, sales, innovation and merger and acquisition. He served as a Director of LVB Acquisition, Inc. from 2007 to April 2, 2013 and Biomet, Inc. from September 2007 to April 2, 2013. He served as a Director of Michaels Stores, Inc. from October 31, 2006 to September 30, 2008 and HealthMarkets, Inc. from February 26, 2009 to March 6, 2013. He published articles in McKinsey's book 'Value Creation in Chemicals'. Mr. McVeigh has done an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and four years later earned his M.B.A. from Columbia University. He graduated, summa cum laude, from Lafayette College with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
