Mr. Kendall B. Davis, also known as Ken, has been an Executive Vice President of Products & Services at Gartner Inc. since April 6, 2017 and served as its Senior Vice President of Products & Services since January 5, 2017 until April 6, 2017. Mr. Davis served as Senior Vice President of Business & IT Leader Products & Services at Gartner Inc. since 2008 until January 5, 2017. He served as Senior Vice President of High Tech & Telecom Programs at Gartner Inc. and was responsible for developing and taking-to-market Gartner research products for high tech companies, professional services firms and technology investors. Mr. Davis served as Senior Vice President of End User Programs of Gartner Inc. from May 2008 to October 8, 2015. Mr. Davis served as Senior Vice President for Strategy, Marketing and Business Development of Gartner Inc. where he had been responsible for developing overall corporate strategy, both domestic and international, as well as leading the strategy process for each it's business unit. He served as Senior Vice President of High Tech and Telecom Programs of Gartner since August 2006. He led the established Gartner Dataquest and Gartner Invest product lines and focused on creating offerings designed to meet the unique IT research needs of specific user groups within high tech organizations. He also led the Corporate Marketing function, which includes corporate branding, public relations and market intelligence. Mr. Davis spent ten years at McKinsey & Company, where he was a Partner assisting clients in the IT industry. During his 10-year career at McKinsey, he assisted industry-leading clients in the software and IT services industries in addressing a variety of strategic and operational issues. He also led McKinsey's research on the IT industry and his insights have been published in The New York Times, The Financial Times, CIO Magazine and McKinsey Quarterly. Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Middlebury College and a PhD in Atomic Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
