During his 16 years at Gartner, he held various roles, including Head of Research for the Technology & Services Sector, Hardware & Systems Sector Vice President and General Manager for Gartner Research EMEA. He is a distinguished Analyst and a highly respected research leader with years of experience in senior positions within Gartner Research. He started career at Gartner as a Program Director of Gartners personal computing research area, specializing in the overall desktop computing issues of European users. Mr. Sondergaard served as Research Director of International Data Corporation in Europe. He also worked for Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS), where he was responsible for the integration of PCs between hotels and SAS data. He has contributed to and written for, various European trade and business publications. Mr. Sondergaard holds a Masters degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen.
