Q&A With GE Aviation Employees

At GE, we keep our legacy in motion by living our core beliefs. We act. We learn. We get better. We are never satisfied with being satisfied and we constantly insist on being more tomorrow than we are today. Some companies are retreating – we are moving our culture and our opportunities forward to embrace the digital industrial future.

How employees describe working at GE Aviation

GE Aviation is no longer a leading company one can be proud of working for. GE has become obssessed with DEI and non-value added activities that affect their effectiveness and employee loyalty.

Over 6 years with GE now. If you are an hourly employee, there is little to no chance for advancement no matter your qualifications. Hourly wage is so low, most folks have to work as much OT as possible just to exist. No transparency from mngmnt. I like what I do but I cannot recommend this company

Overall good but they are lagging in supporting salary based on market opportunity

Management is a joke and have no idea of whats going on

Reliable and its consistency often

Asked to all employees at GE Aviation

  • Not very fairly. I was terminated from my new position because I could not do the job properly. Instead of moving me back to the position I excelled at. I constantly told everyone I was struggling. Asked for extra training and brought my concerns to management, production coordinator and HR. I was allowed to continue failing until I was terminated. Where is the concern for the employee and not the product?
