Out of 135 GE Aviation employee reviews, 72% were positive. The remaining 28% were constructive reviews with the goal of helping GE Aviation improve their work culture. There is a huge disconnect between Leadership and the floor for the most part. This company makes it hard to report stuff and frowns on it. They do whatever they can to hide discrimination and harassment. Meanwhile their PR team talks about how diversified and open the company is its all a lie.
Working on the right stuff that comports with customer expectations.
The leadership team should just go away. The shop teams understand what to do and how to do it. Management is simply unnecessary at this point.
Anything. They make it so unbearabe to work
Communication and follow through on promises
Maybe having a leadership team that dosnt lie and hide stuff from you constantly
Compensation is political in this place.
I know there are major salary discrepencies for gender and experince or calue
The job i am doing is not what i was hired to do
I could definitely leave and make more money in cash compensation. That's part of the story. The health benefits are also nothing to write home about. More robust health insurance and pay commensurate with experience would make me feel better. Degrees can be useful, but so can experience.
get rid of teaming there are to many fake people in this place teaming promotes discrimination and makes it easier for the company to get away with.
Meetings are short. Employees content to be there because they feel they're not being listened too
Communication with in our work station
A union to help with the fairness and equality.
It is encouraged by management to manipulate and lie to people.
Better leadership who are not obsseaaed with wokeness
Replace management with oeople who care about people
Management should be promoted from within company and site should not operate as a stepping stone in ones career need more roots in bedded
Hiring managers use people as interview bait most of the time the job is already spoken for before its posted.
Its about who you know not what you know or can learn
culture and how hourly employees are treated
Lack of challenging work at the people leader level, underutilization of talent at people leader level, no incentive to be a people leader/ culture too focused on technical career path vs organizational leadership leading to poor leadership at senior levels, promotion at remote sites only if diverse
