Being honest and making realistic schedules
They need to hire more people, more qualified people and pay them better .
Focus on psychological safety. It's currently non-existent and people don't feel comfortable going to their leadership with honest feedback. TRUST the people you hired to do the job you hired them for. The micromanagement is rampant. Hire managers who are trained to manage people.
COMPENSATING EMPLOYEE LOYALTY. Turnover is at an absolute high right now and it's not for no reason. Pay up, or continue to lose talent. Easy decision in my books.
Listening to employees/experts while making decisions!
I never take sick time or lay out been loyal for 25 years. Cant take any time off last 2 weeks of every quarter and get the AX . Its discrimating because most are getting it close to retirement age
Review from Sales Dept
GEHC is open about salaries being lower than average in the industry
Better pay for what's being asked
Better benefits - more affordable healthcare plans, better office perks, any perks would be nice (gym stipend, commuter stipend, etc) If you're going to force employees back into the office, make it worth it.
Pay more. Much more. Retain your talent.
Mutual respect from management team and hourly workers
Review from Engineering Dept
without the company making its financial goals, the floggings will continue
Progressive management that listens to the hourly workers needs and ideas.
Review from Engineering Dept
I spend 37% of my time performing administrative tasks to roll information up to managers. 37%!
Be open towards change and be honest about your own capabilities. It doesn’t matter that you’re in the company for many years, you are always able to learn. Be there to help others if the want/ need
All of the DOS need to be fired
Be transparent and prudent. Don't make your applicants way 3+ months without a peep.
Get rid of the HR department
Have less HR hand holding.
They would have to get rid of the managers and stsrt over . I dont think the company has much of a future .
Hire actual leaders, not suits.
GE doesn't respect its customers or employees.
Hire management that are good at leading and motivating people.

Truly invested r&d has this catching up rather than setting the standard
Leadership and organization on every team/project.
