We have an energetic team that deliver. Work life balance is encouraged. We have flextime and every other Friday off

Lots of older people who are sure their way is the right way. There's a bit of a new generation coming in, but a lot are leaving.
GDMS has a small company "family-life" feel with the benefits of that come with a large corporation. We have a leadership team that knows our employees names, how we contribute to the bottom-line, and cares about us as individuals. That is unusual in a large corporation. This organization is very much "your family comes first", although people are very dedicated to getting the job done for our customers and for each other on the team. Employees are devoted to each other and the mission of the company. We make the world safer for you and your families. It is a great technology company, very innovative, great place to work.
Does General Dynamics Mission Systems have any remote positions?
General Dynamics Mission Systems offers a wide variety of flexible work arrangements for employees depending upon their position and customer requirements. Many of our positions are based at customer sites, at "field" locations with our military or government customers, and we have home based, employees who telecommute. We provide flexible work options and work schedules to promote family friendly / work balance life style.
Very few exist, and they're usually only made available for people that are moving away from the office and wish to tele-work.

How do I do well in an interview at General Dynamics Mission Systems?
We have a relaxed, family-like, atmosphere here. We drive hard, work hard, but are very "professionally casual" in dress and demeanor. My advice would be to come prepared with knowledge about our company, products and financial performance. In addition, be able to share why the candidate wants to work at GDMS, and how their skills will make them the best candidate for the job. The candidate should also prepare for Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience questions regarding their competencies and how it relates to the business.
