Mr. Mark L. Reuss has been an Executive Vice President of Global Product Development, Purchasing and Supply Chain at General Motors Company since January 15, 2014. Mr. Reuss serves as the President of North America Operations at General Motors de Mexico, S. de R. L. de C.V. He served as Consultant of Beringea LLC. He served as the President of North America at General Motors Company from December 4, 2009 to January 15, 2014 and also served as its Executive Vice President until January 15, 2014. He served as the President of General Motors North America, Inc. from December 2009 to January 15, 2013. He served as Vice President at General Motors de Mexico, S. de R. L. de C.V since December 4, 2009. He has been with General Motors since 1983 as a university student intern with the Noise Vibration Laboratory at the Milford Proving Ground, where he developed valve trains for V6 engines. Mr. Reuss served as the Head of New Sales Division - US Brands at General Motors Company since March 2010. He served as Vice President of Global Vehicle Engineering of General Motors Company and its Vice President since December 4, 2009. He served as Vice President of Asia Operations of Motors Liquidation Company (formerly, General Motors Corporation) from January 2008 to July 2009. He served as the President of the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries. He served as the President and Managing Director of GM Holden Ltd. from February 1, 2008 to July 2009 and managed GM's operations in Australia and New Zealand. He served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of GM Holden Ltd. He has held numerous engineering and management positions across GM brands, including Chief Engineer roles in GM's large luxury car vehicles and manufacturing body shop tooling launches. He joined the former Flint Automotive Division in 1986 as an Associate Car Development Engineer for powertrain calibration and as a Project Engineer, developing the ride and handling for many GM luxury car programs. He was named Senior Project Engineer of Body Engineering, in 1990 and served as a Body Shop Product and Process Engineer on bodyside frame metal in the large front-drive plants, launching new body shops until 1994. He served as a Total Vehicle Engineer of the Oldsmobile Aurora and Buick Riviera and Total Vehicle Engineer positions on the Buick Park Avenue, Buick LeSabre, Oldsmobile Aurora and Pontiac Bonneville. He served as Vehicle Line Director for crossovers. Mr. Reuss served as an Executive Director of Architecture Engineering and General Motors Performance Division since June 2001 and served as an Executive Director of North America Vehicle Systems and Architecture since October 2005. He served on the General Motors Asia Pacific Strategy Board. He served as an Executive Director of GM's Global Vehicle Integration, Safety and Virtual Vehicle Development since 2006. He serves as Member of Business Leadership Council at InvestMichigan! Growth Capital Fund II. He is Member of the Horizon Upward Bound/Cranbrook Schools Board of Directors and a Member of the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering Board of Visitors. He also serves as General Motor's key executive for Penn State University. He served as a Director of Exelis Inc. since November 3, 2011 until May 29, 2015. He served as a Director of GM Holden Ltd. He is a certified industry pool test driver on the North Course of the famed N???rburgring motorsport race track in N???rburg, Germany and has earned his license for Grand American Road Racing. Mr. Reuss received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1986 and a Master Degree in Business Administration from Duke University in 1990.
