No work life balance. Bad boundaries.

Overworked, unerpaid and under valued.

It has its ups and downs. I have been very successful in my career at my company, and I receive recognition for it which makes me feel good and encourages me to stay on. However, the downside is I am not compensated enough and feel disrespected in that regard. I also do far more than I am paid for.

Paying employees a decent wage

Providing opportunities for current employees, promoting from within, and supporting career growth for current employees. The could also improve in respecting employees by honoring approved time off, providing support to employees, and treating each team member with kindness and respect.

Listening to and recognizing the practitioners. They pat themselves on the backs for the hard work (and late nights) of lower-level others.

We are an employee-owned company. We are awarded annual stock in the company for our hard work. We have a matching 401k that is 100% vested from the beginning and health care benefit options that are non contributory (FREE) to the employee! We have unlimited FTO (no more accruing time off).

I feel that I complete tasks and take on roles that are FAR beyond my job title and compensation level. After open dialogues with colleagues about their compensation, I have confirmed that I am doing far more work compared to my compensation.

Investment in the people. Realistic expectations for work turnaround so people are not functioning at backbreaking speed and capacity. Keep the people happier and you won't keep losing them.
