GNC Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Helpful people great communication thank you

They are nice and friendly people.

Review from Sales Dept

Never met them, they keep changing tho

My store managers were all amazing but the district manager wasn't anywhere near good.

Since new team took over, still waiting for them to show their actions.

Review from Sales Dept

I dont. I (female) was offered an assistant manager position at $9.69/hr while the last (male) assistant manager was making $12.60/hr. This is completely unfair and insulting. I would love to have an explanation for that.

Review from Sales Dept

I rated down the middle because I'm still pretty new and learning my place within The company and my region

Review from Sales Dept

They are very helpful and nice.

Review from Sales Dept

Easy going can answer all of my questions.

Review from Sales Dept

They understand there is a need for real change

Review from Marketing Dept

they are down to earth

They are laid back and know what is best for the company/employees and do their best to stay on top of all needs of their customers.

Review from Sales Dept

They’re awesome and make me feel wanted

Huge improvements made in culture over the last few years. Really on the right track

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

The push numbers at all cost even if it means selling people without much money things they don't need without actually caring about their health

Everything that runs a business and treat women better.

More employees on at once so breaks can be given so you dont burn iut your employees. Better pay is a good incentive fir employees to try harder and stay longer in their stores. Dont expect your minimum wage employees to do the same work as your management.

The region manager micromanages all stores and does not permit them to act on their own accord

Review from Sales Dept

Get an entire new management team!!

Stop micromanaging employees. Better coaching

Taking care of abusive managers.

Everything. I wish they would be a little bit more flexible, you cannot impose anything on the customer because you want a high daily average

Helping employees and maybe saying good job once in awhile instead of always saying 1 more would be better

Review from Sales Dept

Being understanding that not everyone needs or wants a pro membership, customers are a lot more responsive to a kind smile and welcome back than a pushy associate trying to make them spend the money they work hard for.

Review from Sales Dept

follow-up. For example, interviewed for an internal position, Leader said "get back with you in 72 hours" 5 days later; no word. confidence- local level managenent needs to stop sharing personal information about employees w/ store managers that have no authority save their own store.

Review from Sales Dept

Taking employee suggestions not as a sign of disgruntled employee, but as just that-suggestions.

Review from Sales Dept

If they could focus less on selling pressure and think about helping people instead of commission that'd be awesome. Flat rate commission isn't too hard but i bet your muscletech reps wouldn't like it.

They need to start caring about customers and wanting to build the business instead of just hitting daily numbers with no regard to maintaining customers long term.

Promotion, product discounts. Communication. Treating corporate and franchise stores with respect.
