Mr. Douglas E. Sharp, also known as Doug, serves as Member of Management Board at Aerospace Testing Alliance, LLC. Mr. Sharp has been the President Emeritus at GP Strategies Corporation since November 16, 2017. He served as the President of GP Strategies Corporation since February 17, 2006 until November 16, 2017. He served as President of General Physics Corporation, a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corp., since September 4, 2002 until 2011. He served as Chief Operating Officer of General Physics Corp. Beginning as a staff engineer with GP, Mr. Sharp has ever increasing responsibilities for project management, business development and strategic planning. From Division Director to Vice President in 1994, Mr. Sharp became President of GP's Process and Energy Group in 1998 and Chief Operating Officer in 2000. He was assigned as president and elected as a member of the Board of Directors of GP in 2002. Mr. Sharp has a broad range of experience at General Physics Corp. having worked in all of the market sectors served by General Physics during his 21-year tenure at General Physics. He served as a Director at Gse Systems Inc. from October 2003 to September 13, 2006. He holds professional engineering registrations in the states at Arizona, Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and Washington. He has published and presented several technical papers. He is a Mechanical Engineer. He is a Member of American Society of Training and Development, American Society of Mechanical engineers and American Institute of Chemical Engineer. Mr. Sharp graduated with holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
