Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

If you work hard, show some initiative, be a good teammate the advancement opportunities will present themselves . So many people have risen through the ranks and so many people that have tenure in excess of 10-15-20-25 years and more. That is a statement in itself. That is my story!

What makes you most happy at work?

When things go according to plan - isn't work always more fun when that happens?

What are some of the best things about your team?

It's like a family - you can joke, you can be mad, you can be sad but in the end I know my team would be there for me in a heartbeat.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

There isn't a lot of big corporate red tape BS. You want to talk to the CEO or any Executive, they probably already know who you are and will happily sit down with you.

What are some of the best things about your team?

I love the fact that we are able to accomplish what most teams do not even try. The bigger the challenge the better and somehow we make it happen. Couldn't do that without a team.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I like the way the PTO accrual system works. Cost of benefits could be better but that is not the company's fault - benefits are high for most companies and they do a great job of mitigating the impact to the employees.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I like when they changed the PTO policy a few years ago. That made it much easier on everyone. I think merit program needs an overhaul though. It's not competitive. 3% for an outstanding salaried performer is almost insulting .

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The company has fun days for us where they bring in lunch or sometimes it's just snacks - like ice cream or popsicles. They ask about our families and how our kids are. The know us as people not just an employee number.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Unlike most major corporations our leadership team is accessible. They acknowledge you; know who you are and we can schedule an appointment to talk to them about any and everything. (Personal and business). They show tremendous empathy and compassion for their employees. They are firm but fair

What makes you most happy at work?

Being busy & people who actually follow-up or do what they say they are going to do. It makes everyone's job easier because they are doing their job. I would be happier if we didn't have so many meetings. Can't get any work done before you get a whole list of new tasks.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

You have to balance between right for the employee and right for the company - that isn't easy to do but I think they do a great job. We aren't going to get everything we ask for just because we ask for it and that tough for any leadership team to manage through. I think they are firm but fair.
