What's the office layout like at H E B?

This depends on your role. High level officers, directors and managers are in offices, which are still needed. It's nice to have the privacy of your direct manager and be able to speak in privacy without having to worry about folks passing by your cube overhearing sensitive details of a conversation. Most workers in corporate are in open 8x8 cubes. It's a very collaborative environment. Everyone is kind and polite. It's a little hard to learn peoples names since only their first name is on their badge. It opens up room for conversation to ask they what their name is and get to know them a little better. Times are challenging at this point at corporate since space is a commodity. H-E-B is experiencing a growth spurt so office space is at a premium now but a plan is underway and they have found creative options to temporarily solve the problem of where to seat people at the rate they are hiring.
