I will say that the hardest part of the interview is the presentation of the challenge assignment at the beginning. If you bomb that, you'll be escorted out.- Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from Halyard Health?Depends on the position. If you're a functional leaders, you'll meet with your hiring manager and your peers in other functions. If you're interviewing as an individual contributor, you'll meet mostly with peers in your department. Maybe a cross-functional person, but that's rare.
- What should I wear for an interview at Halyard Health?Depends--which engineering team? Alpharetta will want you in a standard business attire. Irvine is little looser and will not mind seeing some personality. But engineers of all stripes, regardless of where you're interviewing, go buy an interview outfit from this year, please. I'm tired of seeing these wide, patterned ties, and straight-cut suit coats that you obviously haven't worn in years, and scuffed shoes that only come out on "special" occasions. No need to be a cliche' of the dull engineer, yeah?
