It is a great deal of solitude, ideal for some people.

Like a lot of agencies, it's often times about quantity over quality. You're often judged by how many tickets you can get out the door vs how well built and maintainable the code is. Amazing developer culture and team, but their hands are tied by speed and constantly having to worry about hours.

Lately everyone seems overworked, and exhausted. Standup meeetings are super quiet. Partners and managers blame covid. Super weird that nothing has been said about Ukraine or overall mental health or whatever. Company motto is people first, but I don't see it in practice. Other depts may do better.

I logged time to 12 different projects today. Higher than an average day but not by much.

Since covid not any different than most places probably, just do my work, hardly talk to anyone

I ask questions to partners about urgent issues, but often don't hear back for days.

Flexible insurance plan that came in clutch on a few occasions. Can't say the same about a lot of the companies I've worked for. Everything else is pretty standard fare.

Pay is lower than going rate but the work isnt too demanding, cant complain

I get no feedback on my perfomance

my individual contribution goes unrecognized unless I make a mistake

I cant say I feel undervalued. I don't think the compant cares about the work anyone does so long as we make money doing it. I am paid well enough.

The dev team are a group comprised of amazing, thoughtful people that will happily drop everything to help you work through a problem. Great culture and camaraderie on the dev and PM side of things. There are no egos and asking questions was always a breeze.

Everybody sticks together and is superhelpful.

A lot seem underqualified especially when it comes to dev. People with no experience in a cms get handed jobs they can't do and there's no training or mgmnt to help.

I have a few allies that mean well and look out for me.

Tbh I can handle a grind if it seemed to matter.

Tell the truth about company faults

Pls sell the company to people who know what they're doing. Real waste of the agency
