What did you like most about the interview process?The online application and interview process was streamlined.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?They people are positive but team leaders only care about sasles
What are some of the best things about your team?The other designer are great and it is such a treat to speak with any of them because you constantly feel isolated. As designers we love to lift each other up but it is sometimes difficult because the work is too overbearing.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?The leadership team should value their designers instead of focusing on selling furniture and punishing the team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Since the base pay is so low (under minimum wage) the sales commissions need to be higher, especially on wholesale vendors (at least 30%-40%). Or the company needs to make the package more expensive (around $500 base pay per project to designers).
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Software is not great, motivation to work hard is not there, deadlines are ridiculous with no support or resources
