How's the leadership on the Engineering team at Healthify?
We currently have one Engineering Manager who does an exceptional job. The squad leads are great.
Young but very thoughtful
What's the office vibe like at Healthify?
Workforce driven
Casual, friendly, kind
Does Healthify have any remote positions?
Yes. Only in Engineering though
Yes, Healthify strives to be a remote friendly culture and offer a number of positions where someone can work remotely full or part time. It's mostly engineering positions. There is a bias towards in person positions though, the team is working on changing that bias.
What do people at Healthify think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
We like Manik! He's great at sharing a vision.
Love the CEO. Good at compassion and open-mindedness. Need improvement at organization and mature decision making
How's the work life balance at Healthify?
It's great, but I can only speak for the Software Engineering department. We're mostly remote, so I'm not super aware of how other departments feel. It seems like some people choose to work late every now and then – you'll see Github activity at odd hours sometimes – but that's often by choice, maybe due to someone deciding to shuffle their hours around for that day. Further, I've never experienced or witnessed pressure to work more than a sane 40 hour work week.
Many resources/policies in place to encourage work/life balance but some departments are worse than others and there are numerous individual workaholics
What's the company culture like at Healthify?
Very positive startupy culture. Fosters a lot of support, space, and recognition for bro's in the office. Many men there are very loud and that's encouraged by leadership. People who are super positive get a lot of respect and people who are more candid and less bubbly are less valued by management. Oddly though, the team seems to value candor and critical thinking as well as being annoyed by loud bro culture. It's a weird split between leaderships' concept of "positive" culture and the team's desire for authenticity and competency. Overall it's a constructive environment but one that largely ignores the unpleasant realities of the problems they are trying to solve. Keep it bubbly and positive and you'll do great. Be candid and critical and you'll also do well but not be liked by management so much.
Casual, passionate, kind

The trust and autonomy to try new things.
Mission (and coworkers are great people)
is it easy to switch roles? does mgmt encourage it?
Maybe not extremely easy, but it has happened, even across very different departments
Yes definitely.
Do u take work home?
Yes, always, it's impossible to leave it at the office. It makes finding a work-life balance extremely difficult, especially since hours worked are respected and admired much more thank efficiency, and prioritized over ensuring over all happiness at the company
No but other people do. It's up to you to set that boundary.
How collaborative is your office?
Rather collaborative, I'm usually working alongside other people and other teams on larger projects.
Very collaborative, that kind of work is highly encouraged.
do you feel like you’re treated fairly or the same amongst your peers?
Most of the time yes. Healthify has work to do on their culture but I've had better experiences here being fairly treated than I have anywhere else. Still, issues with this do exist.
No, men in the office and anyone who works over 50 hours a week are for sure treated better. Often I suggest something and that suggestion is ignored until a man repeats it.
What should I wear for an interview at Healthify?
We don't have a dress code, so whatever you feel most comfortable in. I recommend business-casual
How often do employees get raises at Healthify?
Annually!
What are the differences between maternity and paternity leave at Healthify?
Healthify doesn't think about parental leave as maternity vs. paternity, rather primary & secondary. Primary Caregiver: If you have a new baby and at least 1 year of service with the company, you may take 16 weeks off at 100% pay. Secondary Caregiver: If you have a new baby and at least 1 year of service with the company, you may take 10 weeks off at 100% pay. Pro-Rating: All employees get 4 weeks of paid parental leave immediately from their hire date. Full-time employees who have not yet reached one year with the company accrue an additional week of leave for every month they've worked (eg: A full-time employee who is a Primary Caregiver, who’s been with the company for 6 months gets 4 weeks leave from their hire date, and an extra 6 weeks for each month they've worked. So 4 weeks + 6 weeks = 10 weeks total paid at 100%)
