We carefully select the stores that your Alfred will visit while in your neighborhood: grocery stores, cobblers, dry cleanersyou name it. Chat us in the app for the preferred stores in your area. We try to shop locala general rule of thumb is we shop within a 10 minute walk of your building.

Were also usually able to visit your other favorite stores outside of your neighborhood, but please keep in mind that location and other factors may result in a small fee.

Our tidy-up is a hotel-style light clean where your Alfred will spend 20-25 minutes refreshing your home, including:

We are insured for up to $1MM towards theft and $2MM towards damages. And our vendor partners are also insured.

Alfred Home Managers are full and part-time W-2 employees, carefully screened with background checks (identity & criminal), references, and in-person interviews. Theyre exactly the type of people you want caring for your home: responsible, friendly, and intuitive. All Alfreds complete 2 weeks of comprehensive training including shadowing another awesome and experienced Alfred, as well as ongoing group trainings.

You can also choose to be introduced to your Alfred Home Manager before your first visit to give you a sense of what makes them so special.

Yep! The wonderful thing about Alfred service is the relationship of trust that develops between you and your Alfred. Your dedicated Alfred will get to know you and your preferences better over time. Our Alfreds are human and take time off occasionally, in which case we will notify you ahead of time, introducing you to your temporary Alfred, who is also a full-time, trained employee.

Nope! But please keep in mind, as your Alfred helps both you and many of your neighbors each day, we often have to charge extra for requests that require multiple locations or locations outside your neighborhood.

Alfred achieves its promise of giving back your time by handling errands while youre working, traveling, or spending time with friends and familyincluding in-home services that require the use of your house key, which is typically kept with your doorman or in a secure safe. The key is only distributed on your service days or when you make an ad-hoc request, and only to your Alfred in person.

You can add photos to your requests by tapping the blue camera icon in the set-up screen. You can also add photos to your shopping list by tapping the same icon!

When you add an item to your shopping list, you can turn on the weekly toggle to the right of the item name. When this is turned on, well buy you that item every week.

On your home screen, simply tap one of our services, fill out your preferences on the service set-up screen, and well take care of it!

Incoming requests are routed to your Alfred through our expert customer experience team at Alfred HQ. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday 9AM to 7PM EST.

To reach out at any time, either drop us a line at [email protected] or tap the big red A button and select "Ask us anything!" in the app.

Sometimes Alfreds take breaks too. We observe most Federal holidays and all local school closures for inclement weather days. Well always send you a message to alert you of changes to your regular service.

Your Alfred will visit on the same primary service day every week. Sometimes youll also have a second return day* ifyou'veasked for something like dry cleaning that requires us to return it later in the week. You can also make ad-hoc requests through the app at any time. *Note: not available in all buildings

Your Alfred will visit your home weekdays between the hours of 9AM-6PM. While we would love to provide a smaller window, were not able to given the dynamic nature of requests we receive week-to-week.

All transactions are billed through your credit card on file in the app. Even if you live in an Alfred building where service is a complimentary amenity, well still need to collect your credit card information so we can bill you for items and services you ask us to purchase for you outside of the standard tidy up. You will be billed within 3 days of the service and receive a receipt via email.

To make changes to your billing details, tap the top left button on the home screen in the mobile app, then Billing Details. Web users click the gear icon in the top right, then Billing Details.

We ask that you submit your requests by 3pm the day before your Alfred service day so we have enough time to plan ahead. But we know that last minute things comes up, so chat us in the app or email [email protected] and well see what we can do.

Alfred service is designed to improve over time, so its best to try us out over the course of a few months so we can learn your likes, dislikes, and habits.

Youre welcome to skip or pause your service at any time by emailing us at [email protected] or chatting us in the app. Please note that scheduled services (think home cleanings and handymen) require 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation.
