What's the office layout like at Higher Logic?
The Mesa office is an open layout. We all have cubicles with walls that are just over eye-level when sitting. The office can be loud and it is difficult to concentrate sometimes.
Awful--open plan office that is far too crowded and loud without enough meeting space.
How does Higher Logic make decisions around promotions?
I would love to know the answer to this and I work here! So, needless to say, the company has had a lot of transitions w/ recent acquisitions. There is not an outlined process (that I am aware of).
Based on progress + departmental need
Does Higher Logic have any remote positions?
On a case-by-case basis.
No. Although random employees have remote positions it seems the preference is to get people into the office.
What's the work from home policy like at Higher Logic?
It differs by department. In my department, we can telecommute one day per week. I have found management to be flexible if there are extenuating circumstances.
How flexible is your work schedule at Higher Logic?
Very flexible! As expected, an employee must prove they are trustworthy and can complete projects within deadlines for this perk.
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at Higher Logic?
Thorough! I had 3 interviews and was able to meet the team members and ask them questions during one of the interviews. The process took about a month and a half, but I really felt like I had the opportunity to get to know the company, and that the company had a great understanding of how I was and my skillset. I interviewed for a managed services position and accepted the offer.

I only wish I'd joined sooner.
