Highmark Health Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The pay is on par with the industry standard.

Total compensation is quite good.

401k matching would be my most beneficial benefit

Good health insurance and bonus opportunity.

Not enough options, restricted in choosing healthcare. Benefits are confusing. E.g. Enhanced Provider equals a less cost for services, while a Std. provider is less. Doesn't make much sense. I am not the only one confused by this.

Better than competitors hands down

The benefits and 401k are competitive

GREAT and cheap insurance. No copays and doctors office, pharmacy, gym, and vision center were within the building.

Amazing benefits, 401(k) match, and health care!!

All encompassing package for health and future planning

Review from Operations Dept

We are paid above average based on the market.

Medical, dental and vision insurance

Review from Operations Dept

Annual incentive pay if we meet our corporate goals

The pay is good but salary employees are not compensated for the hundreds of hours worked outside the 40 hours.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Higher wages and better health insurance options.

the annual bonus is a joke, there is no option to increase it

My entire team could make 25-50k elsewhere. No one understands what we do or the value of what we do.

I have all the requirements for the role but they try not to pay me fairly compared to the market and other industries.

I work overtime with no compensation. Would be fair to pay for time worked.

Compensation plans are vague and we are asked to trust that things will be captured without assurances. Understaffing has caused workloads and responsibility to increase without the compensation following suit.

Better pay, recognition, fair advancement opportunities

Raises are presented so as to minimize employees' chances of negotiating for more pay, which isn't surprising, but is still bad for morale
