Mr. Luis Enrique Graham has been Senior Partner of Hogan Lovells since June 06, 2013. Mr. Graham served as a Partner of Mexico City Office at Chadbourne & Parke, L.L.P. Mr. Graham is a Professor of Commercial Arbitration at the postgraduate divisions of the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico and the Universidad Panamericana. He served as Partner in the litigation and arbitration department at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP. He has broad experience in civil and commercial litigation as well as alternative dispute resolution procedures including both domestic and international arbitration. He has written extensively on commercial arbitration and mercantile, corporate and procedural law. He is also a frequent speaker on international law, commercial arbitration and international transactions. He is Commercial Law Board Chairman. He has been member of the Advisory Board of The Institute for Transnational Arbitration, since 2004. Mr. Graham served as the President of the Mexican Bar Association from 2007 to 2009.He is the advisor on International Private Law to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2006, a member of the Arbitration and Mediation Commission of the National Chamber of Commerce of Mexico City, the Mexican Delegate before the UNCITRAL Working Group on International Commercial Arbitration, since 1999, a member of the Dispute Consulting Committee of the North America Free Trade Agreement, from 1996 to 2006 and a member of the ICC Latin-American Group of Arbitration, since 2005. Mr. Graham is a member of several professional and civic organizations, including being the President-elect of the Mexican Bar Association, where he chaired the Commercial Law Committee from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Graham received his JD, cum laude, from Universidad Panamericana in 1998, his MA from The American University in 1986, and graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in 1983, magna cum laude.
