Executive Bio

Dr. Richard Silver, M.D., has been Chief Executive Officer of Population Health, Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of HonorHealth since February 27, 2017. Dr. Silver leads HonorHealth's organizational focus on developing an integrated network to improve the health and well-being of the community. He partners with physicians, community resources and patients to proactively provide and create access to care and services through HonorHealth's hospitals, primary care and specialty care locations and other services. Dr. Silver joined the HonorHealth in December 2008, serving initially as director of the employed hospitalist program at HonorHealth Scottsdale Thompson Peak Medical before being named chief medical officer of Scottsdale Healthcare Medical Group. He was the Founder and President of Prime Health Network. He serves as Chairman of the board of Renaissance, a physician-owned disease management company in which Prime Health participated. He was trained at Thomas Jefferson University and is board certified in internal medicine with added qualifications in geriatrics.
