  • The OR most definitely is the fastest growing and having a major contribution to the hospitals income or capture. The least amount of growing is up in the air and more than likely being addressed. Perhaps if not continuing to spread out all over the Valley, more focus could be made to continue to build better connections and the true hardware of the employees and existing campuses.

  • Make certain that all employees feel valued. It is very simple. Be nice and appreciate your employees. Even the housekeeping staff deserves genuine appreciation.

  • More exposure throughout the hospital and departments and engaging with the employees as a go to person or at least feel comfortable with them enough to open up and have their own voices heard or simply just asking questions without the risk of the departmental heads coming down on them. They need to be approachable, good listeners and peers.

  • Never enough help. If it is slow employees are sent home with low census. Not allowing for catch up or planning or organizing ones position or department. This again the employees having to use their paid time off bank to cover the hours that they were unable to work.

  • Lacking. Employees get ripped off when they have to have any federal holidays off and have to drain their pathetic vacation bank accruals to pay themselves. Many other businesses honor their employees by automatically paying them for the day(s) off.
