HSBC Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Approachability of the people on surface (although it does not connect to deeper down / translate into actions).

High appreciation of staff, very diverse, good speak up culture

We value difference and diversity

Mostly collaborative co-workers. Active steps are taken to ensure everyone is inclusive.

Content of work can be interesting. Participate in calls with many countries.

The work life balance is good

Everything pretty cool contact of ur higher level when ever required

Is not one every day depressing

Very understand managers and they support and help is learn new things

You are encouraged to Speak Up when things are not going well, whether that's personally, a problem in work, work life balance, there is no judgement but support to help you address what is needed.

Review from Operations Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Stop Micromanagement and inappropriate behavior on a leadership level is not good. it trickles down.

Flexibility, more trust and resourcing where it counts although understand constraints

More hybrid work and higher speed of execution

Less politics, less defensive and political colleagues who worked in company for so long, new people and thinking

The weakest leadership I've seen. No bold decisions. No expertise. Because no one seems to know what they are doing. The focus is on not making waves and avoid owning any decision.

You need to pay attention to your managements paranoia. Maybe if you didn't file CEOs every 15 minutes

Excessive unethical sales pressure and inhuman treatment

pay me lot more moey

Positive work environment is required, but executive management is depressing.

HSBC has been cutting / pushing jobs to low cost centers. Quality of the products suffer as does the Business.
