Getting to talk to employees from many different levels
Meeting with various menbers of the team.
You meet a number of people across numerous teams that you will interact with. Gives a good sense of the people.
It ia very fair yet thorough and more than one hiring manager is involved

Competency based instead of making it a marathon and based on how long you can talk About yourself.
Be more honest. You might be able to hire the right kind of people if you tell them what to expect.
It took months from application to offer.
