Executive Bio

Mr. Carter Brokaw has been the President of Digital Revenue Strategy at iHeartMedia, Inc. since July 2015. Mr. Brokaw oversees iHeartMedia's digital sales efforts driving digital revenue through new and existing sales channels as well as developing new digital revenue strategies for iHeartMedia. Mr. Brokaw is responsible for leveraging iHeartMedia's unique digital assets and massive reach, including more than 858 streaming radio stations and websites. As Executive Vice President at Guardian News and Media, he was responsible for its US commercial strategy, positioning, pricing, packaging and tiered account focus. Prior to his tenure at Guardian News and Media, Mr. Brokaw served as Chief Revenue Officer of Slacker, Inc. (Slacker Radio) since August 1, 2012. Mr. Brokaw has over 20 years of sales experience. Mr. Brokaw has extensive experience working across digital media and marketing platforms with Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Slacker, Mr. Brokaw served as Chief Revenue Officer of Meebo, Inc. since April 2008. Mr. Brokaw led Meebo's direct sales team and oversee its advertising sales and monetization strategy. He served as Vice President of Digital Media and Sponsorship Sales for Warner Music Group. He joined Meebo from Warner Music Group, where he was an integral part of its direct-to-consumer business. He began his media career at CNET Networks, Inc. where he spent 11 years in their sales division including serving as its Vice President of Global Accounts. Earlier in his career, he helped construct and pioneer the first pay-for-performance model for online reseller merchants and directed CNET Networks' Global Solutions team in establishing a major account discipline for the organization. He served as Vice President of Corporate Sales and CNET Networks build a marketing platform that enabled top-tier technology brands the ability to integrate their brand and product assets into the online product research process. Mr. Brokaw graduate in English at Colgate University.
