Joseph C. Robinson — President of iHeartmedia Ventures at iHeartMedia

Mr. Joseph C. Robinson, also known as Joe, has been the President of iHeartmedia Ventures at iHeartMedia, Inc. since March 30, 2015. Mr. Robinson serves to develop high-value strategic opportunities with media, technology and content companies. Mr. Robinson has over 20 years of investment and management experience. He Founded Halo Venture Partners in 2003 and serves as its Managing Partner. Mr. Robinson served as an Executive Vice President of Strategic Development at iHeartCommunications, Inc. since July 2014 until March 2015. Mr. Robinson has media and venture experience. He served as an Executive Vice President of Strategic Development at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment LLC since July 11, 2012. In this role, Mr. Robinson evaluated acquisition, equity and partnership opportunities in emerging, high-growth companies. He emphasized on finding companies with interesting and innovative new technologies. Additionally, he explored opportunities for Clear Channel within other categories such as entertainment and consumer products. Mr. Robinson's successes include founding investments in both Scout Media and UGO Networks. He has also held consultancies with both Fox and Tribeca Enterprises. Through Halo, he has made a number of successful investments. He served as a Vice President of Media Sales at Scout Media, Inc. He co-founded InterWorld Corp. in 1994 and served as its Executive Vice President until May 1998. He served as a Senior Vice President of Media at Scout Media, Inc. He co-founded UGO Entertainment, Inc. in 1997 and PlayLink, Inc. in 1999. Prior to joining InterWorld, he was employed by Douglas, Elliman, Gibbons and Ives from 1989 to 1995. Prior to Interworld, he co-founded Toys International, Inc. and served as its President. He serves as Director at Unified Social, Inc. He also serves as the Chairman and Founder to its sister company, Signalray Media, LLC. Since October 1998, Mr. Robinson served as the Chairman of UGO. He serves on the Board of Directors of Spongecell.com, iWin.com and aSmallWorld.com. He served as a Director of InterWorld Corporation since 1995. He served as a Director of Scout Media, Inc. since April 2003. He served as a Director of UGO Entertainment, Inc. since June 2002. Mr. Robinson holds a B.A. and Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Skidmore College.
