They don't know how to communicate with the team and are not available to even speak to.
Communicating: their phone manner is very unprofessional, their emails are unprofessional, the "managers" are a bunch of snobbish millennial
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation at Instacart?

They keep cutting pay and asking for more work. Unrealistic.
We are not paid how we should and we are undercut in our pay. The service fee is a white lie and how it is given to the employees.
Constant pay cuts to their already low pay. Instacart is a sinking ship.

I am expected to drive hours on end. Sometimes 100 or more miles per day. I have no control over what orders I take and which ones I don't
Anything and everything is wrong and the company doesn't care about its employees
I feel sad for people who are dependent on this income as they are used by the company.

Workers don't feel valued, respected. Lack of trust from workers re: compensation. No attempt by co. to solicit ANY input from workers.
Fair pay is the biggest issue. Low pay and deceptive business practices from management leaves workers feeling taken advantage of.
We fight for our hours and schedule ourselves. We are pushed hours and they don't pay attention to anything we say.

Nobody has any idea what is going on. Rules keep changing.
Since the pay decreases, Instacart has been filling positions with subpar people who do not care about proving good service.

Yes
They do a thorough background check which takes a few days but after that your good to go!
A simple background check is all that is done.

I work for other companies just like instacart. Postmates being one of them. When I’m not working, I’m hanging out with my two daughters.

A ton. Insurance of many types, and just recently started offering membership to a company called perkspot which is a site that gives you discounts and deals to every store you can imagine.
What's the interview process like at Instacart?
Answer a couple questions online, pass a background and vehicle inspection, and wait to receive your start-up package in the mail. The entire process takes around a week.

Not applicable. You get to make your own schedule.
