The leadership team at ITC seems to be more transparent and easy going than what I was used to at other employers. My direct manager really invests in her team to a great degree and I've felt more supported in my role here than any other position in my 12 years in utilities.

I appreciate the trust that they put in us, and the fact that they don't feel the need to hover over us while we do our daily tasks. They're also pretty clear about expectations, and tend to be pretty easy to speak with.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
There are so many benefits to go through when you first start its almost overwhelming. There is a pension type plan on top of the already great 401k match. I got a pay raise for paying less pocket for medical and pay nothing for dental. The benefits package is a huge plus to working at ITC.

It keeps coverage cheap. I'm spending less on doctors' visits and prescriptions now than I did before.

The best part about the compensation package is still having access to a pension, but more importantly the bonus structure. The LTIP and the annual bonus from start are great.

Everyone is very approachable. There's no fear of rejection or looking foolish in front of other people. I've been able to learn about different teams and parts of the company just by sitting with people at lunch and asking a few questions.
