IZEA is a fantastic organization that consistently works to better the life of their employees. I'm extremely proud of the initiatives IZEA takes to increase the ownership it's workers have over the company. IZEA is setting itself up to attract and retain the best talent available.

We encourage that employees build relationships with each other.

they don't let the fiduciary responsibility get in the way of caring about the people who work at izea

we encourage professional development and do everything we can to see our team mates grow whether inside or outside of izea.

We encourage asking questions, leveling up each-other; most importantly - we support one another's goals & help each other achieve them.

As organizations grow, so do their bureaucratic components. IZEA has done an amazing job recognizing this, working around it, and ensuring that the company culture doesn't suffer due to it.

What makes you most happy at work?

The ability to work with my leaders to align my career goals with company goals, the opportunities to learn from other members of the team, easy access to more senior employees to learn from.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Our executive team recognizes the value of labor. In this world, it's not easy to put your workers first. Market forces make it easy to assume that worker satisfaction, compensation, & growth shouldn't be a priority. But this executive team consistently shows that they recognize the value of labor.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I recognize that it's not easy to compensate workers fairly. However, I believe my leaders are doing the best they can in the circumstances. As long as we keep moving forward & making positive changes that put workers first, then the IZEA will succeed both in the short-term and long-term.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

we are in a labor market that requires employers put their workers first. This means going above and beyond to pay the best salaries, offer the best benefits, and align the companies mission with that of employee professional growth. We have good intentions, but there is much work to be done.
