Executive Bio

Ms. Joann Fielder has been the Chief Merchandising and Creative Officer and Executive Vice President at The J. Jill Group, Inc. and J.Jill, Inc. since July 2015. Ms. Fielder oined J.Jill in September 2011 as Senior Vice President of Design, Product Development and Sourcing. She was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Creative Officer in August 2013. Ms. Fielder has extensive experience in design and product development. Prior to joining J.Jill, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Design Officer of United Retail Incorporated at United Retail Group, Inc. since April 2004. Prior to her role at Avenue, Ms. Fielder served as an Executive Vice President of Design at Ann Taylor stores for more than five years since 2001 and served as its Senior Vice President of Design. Earlier in her career, she also held roles as Vice President of Merchandising for Brooks Brothers and Vice President of Product Development for Talbots. Ms. Fielder is a graduate of The Tobe Coburn School.
