Save yourself, they are Hippocrates talk all this teamwork bull. Never stand up to it. Once was a great place to work. But with turns of lower management, have lost the way . Only the mighty dollar counts. Not those who make it.

Working hours for them r constant and I work around 10 hours a day average.

Very little flex, part of why they don't train others to do different things. It may also cause them to pay somebody more.

Where did I work before how long have I done this sort of thing do I have my own tooling.

I was basically put in front of a machine told what to do how long it takes to do it the end.
What's the internship program like at JBT Corporation?
We had an internship going on the office area worked okay some actually got hired where is the program they set up with the state in the shop has a lot of loopholes and failures involved.
How does JBT Corporation handle HR issues?
At the corporate level maybe okay but at the site level mine in particular has gone through numerous HR people over my years in the past 4 years we ended up with a generalist & helper for a year. And I think the generalist has made mistakes which I got to pay for. But now I understand we have a full-time head of HR who I have yet to meet because they're not here full time they're serving other plants.
How innovative is JBT Corporation?
Our particular plant does very little r&d like they used to. But they are now looking more at a newer machinery.
How does JBT Corporation measure success and growth in the Operations department?
They operated off a SQDC board for a while and now that new higher-ups have arrived that is somewhat changed and our supervisors now spread the information to us.
What skills do you need to be successful in the Operations department at JBT Corporation?
Willing to learn willing to work be on time work well with others except criticism where it be bad or good.
How are layoffs handled in the Operations department at JBT Corporation?
For the most part we don't have very many of these but it should go in a seniority situation but again they're not here to be fair.

They do offer some sort of back to school incentive. But timing and opportunity to learn on the job is almost non-existent.

No program that I know of but they did help the high school with robotics.
What perk or benefit should JBT Corporation have?
Earn vacation should be allowed to be taken at a day's notice. Sick leave should also go back to five days. Some sort of graph or chart that shows how you can get from one grade level to the next not just the boss is that atboy.
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at JBT Corporation?
Come in willing to listen and learn be expected to be lied to if you plan to move up hard get your increase do to your skill level raised. Remember your vacation and sick leave will be very limited 2 like 3 days sick and no vacation for months.

He willing to learn and try to forget what you know already because they're going to brainwash you in a different direction.
How often do promotions happen at JBT Corporation?
Almost a rarity but there have been a few that are moved. Most of them brought in from outside and they now do multiple functions and sometimes are not even at this plant
