As a long time employee I've watched FMC squatter down to jbt and jbt slimming it down to very little perks. Up til 6years ago they offered ok things for family an works to do.
What do you wish you knew before starting at JBT Corporation?
That I shouldn't have got my hopes up that I would be promoted and noticed for the hard work the effort I put into bettering this facility and the training I gave people below me no way I would still training them. Also that after 30 or so years the new bosses will not decide your efforts were vain. I know I sound bitter but I've put a lot into this place only to be slapped in the face weather newer people coming in the elders would have done me right but it would cost somebody a little money and the new people don't want to show that they're spending any.
What are the most important soft skills to be successful at JBT Corporation?
Used to believe it was be a team player but nowadays it's kind of who's your friend. We seem to not judge on skill level but if you play their little games you seem to advance.
How long does it take to hear back after applying to JBT Corporation?
First of all you can't just contact jbt corporation there's no actual phone number on the internet. Unless you're wanting to buy a part are look for a job.They don't allow us to contact a corporate member. I have an issue I needed to talk to somebody above the satellite place I work at. Yet I had no idea via internet how to contact them once I got a phone number from a friend who works in the office so I can contact corporate HR.
What is the dress code at JBT Corporation?
Nice casual office attire ,shop has uniforms but are not required to wear them.

They offer one once a year, but if for some reason you have to miss a portion of that year your never compensated for time spent. Even if your evaluation shows you should have been increased in salary.
What's the work from home policy like at JBT Corporation?
Guess it works for a select few. I'm never offered such a thing.

I would say yes, before hire, but no on random, unless one is hurt , they tried to prove your unfit to be there.
What benefits does JBT Corporation provide?
Very weak health & weaker dental, eye Care is ok. Vacation used to be good but they added to many restrictions to it. There's others that will satisfy the corporate folks. But the working folks are pinned down to make more $$$ .
